Our Favorite Female Focused Virtual Communities & Events

By Emily Merrell

While I miss hugs more than anything, I am so grateful for the communities that are bringing us together online. All of these communities have their own strength IRL – they’ve done a great job of bringing their communities together through Zoom and other platforms.

Morning Magic Collective: For women in wellness who are looking for a group of individuals who support each other and problem solve with one another. Look no further than the Morning Magic collective. Created by Root To Rise Health founder, Kelley Hoag, these bi-monthly events inspire, challenge and remind you why you do what you do.

Little Scraps of Magic: Are you a mom and still looking for your tribe? Little Scraps of Magic was created by Cleveland based mom, Stephanie Trsaska. A former Montessori teacher, Stephanie created a community of like-minded moms who can learn, grow and develop with one another without geographic limitations.

The Assembly: The Assembly is my second home. I painfully miss their natural light, fresh lemons off the lemon tree and quiet mornings after a workout class. They’ve done a great job of pivoting their events and signature workout classes to the Assembly Anywhere portal. They are offering a 7 day free trial. While I can’t enjoy the IRL vibes, this is the next best option.

Forward Female: Forward Female started in LA but now their reach is global. With weekly webinars from incredible speakers, they focus on community and career. This community is fantastic and one that you need to check out.

Ametti: While travel is still technically on hold, get ready to pack your bags with Ametti. This luxury travel brand is now giving the opportunity to travel virtually for a good cause. Each event revolves around a new destination. So far they’ve traveled to Morocco with beauty expert Miriam from Alhambra Lifestyle, Jalisco Mexico to learn about the tequila making process with Patron ambassador Stephanie Teslar and ended with a signature cocktail with mixologist Cody Goldstein from Muddling Memories.
