Have you ever wanted to meet the person next to you in your work out class or perhaps see the same neighbor over and over again? At this event powered by Second Degree Society you’ll get the chance to meet 2 individuals for 15 minutes each handpicked just for you. Then we’ll meet two incredible forces within the Sunnyside community. V Peterson, Founder of Bodied and Karen Martiz Founder of Skin Mix. Hear their stories of building and scaling community in Sunnyside.

About V. Peterson:
Veronica ‘V’ Peterson, a Colorado native, has always had a passion for movement and music. Since making the jump into the group fitness industry 13 years ago, she has taught multiple modalities such as indoor cycling, pilates, boxing and barre as well as earning her NASM-CPT. In 2023, she made the decision to step away from her position at Soulcycle to create her own method and open her own studio called Bodied. Bodied is a combination of step aerobics, pilates and strength training. Since opening their doors this past August, V and her team have built a strong and vibrant community at Bodied and their goal is to open other locations down the line. When she is not at Bodied, you can find V hanging out with her husband and their cats, dancing at a concert or traveling
